Ana is a journalist planning a documentary film. She is unexpectedly drawn into the world of Lourdes, a young woman with Down syndrome. Lourdes dreams of becoming a nurse and marrying her boyfriend Carlos one day. Gradually the involuntary working relationship between the two women evolves into genuine interest and true friendship.
