Since age four, Jamey Wasiman has a stammer. He is a talented soccer player, but the stammer affects his self-confidence. Now he is preparing for an interview and tryout for a prestigious school’s phys-ed program. If he gets accepted he will have to teach others, and he is afraid that his affliction may cause him to fail. Jamey wants to get rid of his stammer. He’s tried any number of things, but nothing has helped. With the help of his parents and a speech therapist, will Jamey gain the assurance and skills he needs to overcome his fear and win over the admissions committee?
