«I’m Here» by Julia Orlik, Poland 2020

At the cen­ter of this stop-mo­tion short film is a wom­an in nurs­ing care. She is cared for by her hus­band and daugh­ter un­til her death, even when they both reach their lim­its. The out­stand­ing­ly de­signed film cap­tures the pain of the fam­i­ly and the fad­ing of a per­son with min­i­mal­ist means, with­out tak­ing away her dig­ni­ty.
